In 1996, Sony's email service 'So-net' introduced a virtual pet that lived in your email interface. This character, called a Postpet, would wander around your screen, take your emails to other users, and carry you back your replies. Postpets would develop personalities based on how you treated them, and also could get hungry, sick, or sad. Momo, a pink bear, was the first Postpet to be made, and this 2000 book collects his lore, as well as images of Momo wrestling, DJing, and more.
