Starting around the early 90s, Tokyo began having adult clubs themed around commuter trains, with patrons entering a refurbished train car dressed either for work or S&M, themed around free use, typically. Usually with dim lights and loud electronic music. By the early 00s these specialty adult clubs died out, but these fossils of this era of fetishism still exist.
